Confirmation is an intentional program of study that culminates with young people “confirming their faith” and becoming members of our congregation. Led by our Senior Minister, classes are held on Wednesday evenings between October and May. Over the course of those months, topics discussed include: the Bible, God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, church history and sacraments, and ways to think about faith and contemporary issues. Confirmation is designed to be participatory, interesting and fun!
Typically, young people in the 9th grade comprise the confirmation class. But on occasion the class has included 8th and 10th graders as well. Parents who desire to enroll their child in Confirmation should contact the church office (203-938-2004) or speak with our Senior Minister, Rev. Ahlberg.
Unless otherwise noted, all classes will be held on Wednesdays, October, 2008 through April, 2009 at 7:30 PM in an upper Sunday School room.
