We gather as a community, parents and children together, for the first several minutes of worship. Early in the service a Children’s Time is offered by one of our ministers. Following Children’s Time, children through 8th grade may depart for age-appropriate Sunday school classes in our educational building adjacent to the sanctuary. Nursery care is provided, beginning just before 10:00 AM, for our youngest disciples. Visitors and members alike are warmly encouraged to avail themselves of Christian education and care opportunities for their children. Since the 19th Century, the beginning and end of our worship time is signaled by ringing our steeple bell.

Over the course of the year, musical offerings are provided by our volunteer adult choir, children’s choir, hand bell choir and occasional guest soloists and instrumentalists.

The sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month, as well as on Christmas Eve (11:00 PM service only), Maundy Thursday, and Easter Sunday (6:00 AM Sunrise service only).

Everyone present, irrespective of church membership or affiliation, is cordially invited to participate in receiving the bread and the cup.

Members of the Board of Deacons assist the ministers in distributing the elements to the congregation. Remembering our personal gifts and concerns, it is our custom to partake of the bread individually; celebrating our covenant with one another, we hold the cup until all have received and partake as one.

Following morning worship, we gather for conversation over cups of coffee or tea in our lovely fellowship hall. Please join us!
